Multiple ways to reach Hotel Royal Swiss
Fly to Bharatpur Airport (BHR) from Kathmandu (25 min flight). We provide airport pickup service (additional charge). Bharatpur is 20km from our hotel (30 min drive).
Regular tourist buses from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Sauraha (5-6 hours). We can arrange bus tickets and pickup from the Sauraha bus station (free for our guests).
5-6 hours drive from Kathmandu via Prithvi Highway. Well-maintained roads. We can arrange private car with driver (additional charge). Ample parking available.

Yes, we provide pickup service from Bharatpur Airport and Sauraha Bus Station. Airport pickup is charged at $25 per vehicle (1-4 persons). Bus station pickup is free for guests with confirmed reservations. Please provide your arrival details at least 24 hours in advance.
We accept cash (Nepalese Rupees, USD, Euros), credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard), bank transfers, and popular mobile payment services in Nepal. A deposit may be required for reservations during peak season.
Cancellation 7+ days before check-in: Full refund. 3-7 days before: 50% refund. Less than 3 days: No refund but credit for future stay. For safari packages, different terms may apply. Please check at time of booking.
Yes! We are family-friendly with special rates for children. We offer family bungalows, children's menu options, and child-friendly safari activities. Children under 5 stay free (with parents). Baby cots available on request.
Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and common areas. The connection is generally good, though it may be slower in remote jungle areas. We also have a computer with internet access available for guest use in the lobby.
Our staff speak English, Nepali, Hindi, and some basic German, French and Japanese. Our safari guides are fluent in English and have excellent knowledge of wildlife and local culture.
